Welcoming Our New Social Worker

Meet Jordan Tomich, Venetian Gardens' new Social Worker! With over six years of experience as a Licensed Social Worker, Jordan brings a wealth of expertise to our team. She earned her bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati in April 2017, subsequently obtaining her LSW in July 2017. Jordan has dedicated approximately three years to long-term care and over two years to Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse.
Passionate about serving diverse populations, Jordan finds fulfillment in utilizing her skills to make a positive impact on individuals' lives. "If I can make the world a better place for someone and be their advocate then that is what I am going to do. It may seem silly, but my love language is Acts of Service and as a Social Worker I can live my love language on a daily basis." Some of the ways she loves making a difference are helping individuals address housing needs, providing access to food, assisting with hearing aids, and connecting people with primary care doctors.
Beyond her professional role, Jordan is a proud mother to her 5-year-old daughter, Maggie, and a devoted wife to Tyler for five years. With a love for fantasy and sci-fi, she boasts an impressive knowledge of lines from Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars movies. Jordan is also a sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying baseball, football, and hockey.
Excited to join the Venetian Gardens team, she looks forward to building professional and personal connections and making a difference in our residents' lives!
