Recognizing Those Who Go Above and Beyond
January 29, 2021
As a team, Venetian Gardens has been blessed to have Amy Royce on staff as our Activities Director for 12 years! She is a person that exemplifies what being a team member is all about. Always being more than willing to jump in and help wherever her skills and time are needed. Including assisting in housekeeping, dietary, and on the floor with our nursing staff.
When COVID began and many things changed, Amy’s dedication to her residents never wavered. So much so that in the past 2 years, she has only taken two full days off for herself. She is always willing to come in on the weekend to bring extra smiles and laughs to the people we care for every day. In the past year, her methods may have altered but her empathy and smile were still there to bring a bit of happiness to everyone’s path she crossed.

If you have never had the pleasure to meet Amy, there is a couple things you should know about her. The most important of those being that she is the mother of two teenage boys and Halloween is the biggest holiday in their house. Some have referred to their display as the Halloween version of the Grizwold’s at Christmas.
This past week was the Ohio Health Care Association Activities Professional’s Week and we could not pass up the opportunity to recognize Amy for all of her hard work! Please join us in thanking her for all she does for everyone in our Venetian Gardens community!
