December Employee of the Month

Venetian Gardens is proud to recognize Mechelle Eckart as our December Employee of the Month!



Mechelle has been a dedicated STNA with Venetian Gardens for six years, bringing her warmth, compassion, and hard work to our residents and staff. When asked what she loves most about Venetian Gardens, Mechelle didn’t hesitate: “The night shift crew,” she said with a smile, reflecting her deep connection to her coworkers.

Originally from Goshen, Ohio, where she attended Goshen schools, Mechelle also spent some time in Missouri before returning to her roots. When she’s not working, Mechelle loves spending time with her family or hanging out with her best friend. She’s also a proud pet mom to two adorable fur babies: Bambi, a French Bulldog, and Smokey, a Siamese Cat.

In her spare time, Mechelle enjoys crafting, binge-watching her favorite TV shows, and revisiting classic films like Wayne’s World and old Adam Sandler movies. Her music playlist is as diverse as her interests, featuring everything from rock and ’90s alternative to rap. Above all, Mechelle treasures her role as an aunt, calling it one of her favorite joys in life. She also dreams of traveling more in the future.
