Employee of the Month - April 2022
April 29, 2022
We love to celebrate our staff members for their hard work and dedication to our residents. Each month, our staff vote on who should be recognized and appreciated for their outstanding care! This month, we'd like to congratulate TJ Molter with our Dietary Department! She has worked here for about a year, and we couldn't be luckier to have her.
What led TJ to a nursing career was answering an ad that said, "make a difference in someone's life!" She was immediately interested and now makes a huge difference and positive impact in our residents' lives here at Venetian Gardens.
Her favorite thing about working at Venetian Gardens is the staff and the residents. In 33 years of employment, she shared that she has the best supervisor that she's ever worked for that appreciates her!
To shed some light on her personal life, she is happily engaged and has seven children. TJ was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and attended The University of Toledo.
When TJ is not working, you will find her sleeping because she usually has at least two jobs. You will also find her doing some of her favorite hobbies, including planning and executing secret missions for people with special needs. She loves organizing pop-up surprise parties for individuals with disabilities. She has also spent time as a bowling instructor and is retired from CPR and first aid instructing. She also was involved with track and field as a coach for the Special Olympics.
A couple of fun facts about TJ is that she played women's pro football for the Cincinnati Sizzles from 2004 to 2016, then retired at age 40 right after they won the National Championship in 2018. The Clermont County Board of DD also issued their first-ever individual provider of the year award to TJ!!
Thank you, TJ, for your caring and compassionate heart. We're so happy you are a part of the Venetian Gardens Family!
