Vacation Bible School Week at Venetian Gardens
August 30, 2023
Venetian Gardens is known for providing an all-around quality experience when residents stay with us. We focus not only on their physical health but mental and spiritual health as well. We always want to make sure our residents are feeling fulfilled with a sense of purpose and meaning. To lean into our spiritual health, we invited the Director at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Milford to host Vacation Bible School for our residents!
The Vacation Bible School program consisted of a week full of learning, crafting, snacking, and singing. Each day, we sang about three songs, had story time, made a craft, and watched a feature video. It was the perfect amount of time for our residents to have fun and feel involved. The theme, "Keepers of the Kingdom," focused on Standing Strong in the Word of Truth. We had stories each day based around this idea and having the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Thanks to our generous volunteer, Diane Cooper, she made the week even better by providing all the fun, decorations, crafts, and snacks. Thank you, Diane, for being a great addition to our Activity Department. We also want to thank Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for coming to spread the Word of God and His light to our residents. Everyone finished the week feeling at peace and happy.
We love creating special memories for our residents at Venetian Gardens through activities, events, outings, and more. To stay up-to-date on our current events, be sure to like us on Facebook by clicking the button below!
